Slow Cooked Portuguese Chorizo and Peppers

Makes 8 Servings



1.      Remove casings and crumble the sausage, placing into a slow cooker

2.      Stir in green peppers, onions, tomato paste, wine, water and crushed garlic

3.      Cover, cooking on low heat for 8 hours

4.      Remove cover and cook an additional 2 hours, allowing the liquid to evaporate

5.      Serve over rice or on a hard roll
