Franks with Cheese and Bacon

Makes 4 servings
1 pound (8 individual franks) Arnold’s Beef Franks OR Arnold’s Pork Franks
8 strips Arnold’s Beef Bacon OR Arnold’s Turkey Bacon
4 thin slices American cheese
Mustard

Directions:
1. Cut a lengthwise gash down the center of each frankfurter (but be careful not to cut all the way through the bottom as the halves should not separate). Spread each side with mustard.
2. Cut cheese slices in half and place one in center of each frankfurter.
3. Blanch bacon in boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain well and wrap a piece of bacon around each cheese-stuffed frankfurter. Fasten at both ends with toothpicks.
4. Grill in oven broiler or meat grill. Broil 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Frankfurter can also be fried in a skillet that has been lightly greased with bacon fat. Serve hot.
