Picadillo

Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup El Cerdito Chorizo
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup raisins
pinch of sugar
pinch of ground cloves

Directions:
1. Place ground beef and chorizo in frying pan and cook until beef starts to brown, mashing down to crumble the meat.
2. Add onion and garlic. Cook for 4 minutes.
3. Add tomatoes, vinegar, cinnamon, cumin, sugar, cloves and bay leaf. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Add raisins.
4. Cook, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
Comments: Can be served as is, or used as a filling for tortillas.
