- INGREDIENTS
 
- 1 lb Caroline’s Smoked Beef Bacon Sausage®
 - 2 tbsp Butter
 - ¼ cup Flour
 - 4 cups Milk
 
- DIRECTIONS
 
- 1. Remove casings and mince the sausage into ¼ to ½ inch pieces
 - 2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage for 10 minutes or until browned
 - 3. Slowly stir in butter, milk and flour
 - 4. Reduce to medium-low heat, gently stirring until the gravy is to the desired thickness
 - 5. Serve with grits, biscuits or chicken
